Port Ludlow Estate Sale

Yup, we were going to checkout an estate sale on Robin (Road, Street, Lane?) Port Ludlow. She bought a bunch of shelves in the garage (and the contents thereof) and the auction people "let us" stay and clean out the garage. We worked a little to get that done and then headed to the Eden Woods in Port Townsend. All I can say is, "what a day!" But what the heck is this thing? Written on it is "target".

Interesting house..quaint and clean. I have difficulty purchasing stuff at these and I guess it's because I wonder about the person's life. The paintings on the walls were in oil and done by 2 different people with the same last name. The dates on them spanned from 1976 to 2006. From what I gathered this place was owned and lived in by an 83 year old man who lost his wife a few years ago. They must have led an active life because aside from painting stuff there was hiking gear and backpacks. I especially liked the poster of the Olympic mountain range with all of the peaks named off across the top. The vehicles were an 86 small crew cab Ford truck and a Lincoln Towncar.

Returning from Port Townsend we stopped at a farmer's stand..they actually had lichee...it was good! I bought a couple of apricots and a nectarine. The vegies looked good...some from organic farms in the area..the lichee came from China!!

On the way home there were a few frantic phone calls and we arrived at the Tracyton house to find Danielle trying to keep the dock from floating down Dyes Inlet! So, I don't have the picture, but the 3 of us were in the water pulling and pushing this floating dock --I had the rope in front..and was dressed in my outfit for the day..jeans, a shirt and sketcher shoes--thigh deep in the water! I'm loving this friendship, never a dull moment!
