I inherited DRIVE from my parents. I have learned laughing out loud, loving completely and appreciating a motorcycle ride. From my family I learn unconditional love. Now I learn to carry on. Of little sleep, I feel the need to fill each day with accomplishment. I have a zest for life and a curiosity to know about anything and everything!

Whatchamacallit!
It's a crazy thing, really, this was just gonna be a slab class experiment cylinder..but when I got home from the workshop I really wanted whimsy..and so the handle and spout and lid evolved. After a few weeks the spout broke off and I was gonna can it but decided to try some magic stuff and slip...and voila....the glaze was really rushed because I wasn't gonna continue with this one till Pua said..do it in Pete's Copper and put it in the oxidation kiln...so, with the cobalt etched and sanded I put Pete's copper over it. I couldn't fit it in the glaze container with the tongs..and they were loading the kiln...so I left the finger areas open and scraped some other parts of the glaze down to the clay body..those parts turned that weird color orange (I'm lovin it..but you know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder) and Pete's didn't fail me and turned this celadon green!! Yay!! I'm so glad I didn't crush it into the recycled clay!!
