I really love fly fishing!! It rained the entire day but I wasn't cold. I had a couple of mishaps slipping down the side of a hill, and then nearly falling into the water trying to unsnag my line! I'm so glad that my last thought before leaving home was to put a garbage bag in the backpack, and an extra set of clothes. Thanks Kyle for loaning the gear...the boots reminded me of the fire dept. days...several sizes too big...and really a pain to get around in!! I gotta admit it...I liked the solitude...

I got 6 trout...and let them all go! I realize why people fish all day and don't mind it if they don't bring any fish home for dinner. Only one was large enough...and that one got away!!

I learned to fly this kite this past weekend...kite flying is an expensive hobby...so I'm glad I can just borrow one from Kawika. I dunno if anyone shot me flying...this isn't me, but the kite is the right one!!
