I inherited DRIVE from my parents. I have learned laughing out loud, loving completely and appreciating a motorcycle ride. From my family I learn unconditional love. Now I learn to carry on. Of little sleep, I feel the need to fill each day with accomplishment. I have a zest for life and a curiosity to know about anything and everything!

Ukulele Lady--Binding
I finally got to practice with the Dremel tool and the attachment that routs the channel out. here you can see the mahogany glued to the koa side with the binding ledge where the tortoise stuff will sit.
masking tape magic
I didn't realize how fast the glue dries! By the time I got everything taped, it was time to remove the tape!
binding is on...
With a bunch of glue smudges, etc. But things will be scraped and sanded and filled and sanded and it will be good.

Henrichsen's "Farm"
I love this place. The garden area is surrounded by deer fence, the goats and little horse are in a huge area, the grassy area is also huge, the playground area is large, but wait, there's more! It seems to go on and on! As much as we in bumerton are NOT cityfolk, I'm sure that Lehua and Kawailani are not farm and country girls! The chickens were AWESOME and reminded me of when my Grandpa Eguchi had a chicken farm up on Makiki Roundtop Drive (now the area of million dollar homes!!) in Hawaii. I thought it fun to pull feathers over the boiling cauldron after the beheading. I loved gathering eggs and looking at them through the candleflame! Ah, the good ole days!
Gorgeous
Okekai--last year's winning soloist in both kahiko and auana. She's also known as "Marylou" because she's like her mom in many ways. On this day she went into the freezer and couldn't get out. Someone heard her pounding and opened the door to a bluish, shivering young lady! Back in the day, there wasn't the safety features required now. She didn't know that the door could be pushed from the inside to let herself out! The girl can really dance.
